Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao, ABC Islands: 8 Days
Day 1 & 2: Bonaire
Join the yacht on Bonaire, a wonderful Caribbean island with Dutch flavor! You can wander around in Kralendijk, enjoy the best dive spots in the world or drive up to the unique salt pans flanked by original slave houses.
Day 3 & 4: Klein Curacao
Cruise 30 miles west to anchor at uninhabited island Klein Curacao on your ABC Islands yacht charter. The island has a deserted lighthouse along with traces of shipwrecks and old settlements. Fish for marlin or tuna, swim with turtles and dolphins and end the day with a breathtaking sunset as we anchor here overnight.
Day 5: Curacao
We will now cruise to Curacao which offers some fabulous architecture on the UNESCO world heritage list. You can also sunbathe on its beaches, stroll the natural parks, see the famous town of Handelskade with its floating bridge, the floating market, slave museum or enjoy the tax free shopping in Punda.
Day 6: West Point
Sailing the south coast on your Curacao yacht charter, arrive at the very west tip to anchor in Playa Kalki. Snorkel, go on a dive trip or dine at the beautiful Kura Hulanda resort.
Day 7 & 8: Aruba
Dutch heritage, Caribbean flavor and cosmopolitan as well, this 20 mile long island is known as the most popular in the Dutch Caribbean. Work on your tan lines on the white sands of Palm Beach and Eagle Beach, visit secluded Baby Beach, dive the shipwrecks, hike in Arikok National Park and around the mysterious Ayo and Casibari rock formations. Play dominos or shop at Oranjestad's relaxed harbor-side market between the gingerbread, pastel-colored buildings or the Renaissance Mall.
Enjoy the casinos and nightlife, dance to the salsa, meringue and reggaeton or just enjoy the Spanish-influenced cuisine. Specialties include stewed green papaya, corn bread and fresh seafood.
