Yacht Charters in North Caribbean: Turks & Caicos
Providenciales to Providenciales, 7 Days
Famous for its wonderful diving and peaceful pristine beaches, a Turks and Caicos yacht charter is becoming a favorite. From the bright hum of Providenciales to the diving heart of French Cay, this Caribbean superyacht charter adventure is for dive-enthusiasts, sun worshippers and naturalists alike.
Made up of 40 intensely tropical isles, the Turks & Caicos Islands are an experience like no other. Known by locals as 'TCI', this sprawling archipelago flies under the radar of most known Caribbean destinations and as such, is a sanctuary for those seeking solitude. The waters of TCI teem with abundant marine life and gorgeous white-sand beaches, don't miss your opportunity to enjoy these truly deserted islands on a luxury superyacht charter in Turks and Caicos with Denison Superyachts.
Day 1: Arrival- Providenciales
With new Marina's and sprawling resorts, there is no surprise that Providenciales or Provo, is the starting point for easy entry into the Turks and Caicos. This ever-expanding island is full of luxurious amenities including a golf course, casino, shopping centers and excellent restaurants. Provo also has some of the very best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean for those who like to explore the world beneath the water.
Day 2: Provo to French Cay
Enjoy breakfast on the aft deck as you cruise south across the Caicos Bank to French Cay on your Turks and Caicos yacht charter. French Cay lies on the very edge of the Bank lending itself to great fishing, diving and snorkeling. Likewise, it is also a fantastic spot for bird enthusiasts. You can often spot flocks of birds including the brown noddy, bridled terns and ospreys. This Cay easily boasts some of the most amazing coral and marine life in the Turks and Caicos. Molasses Reef is also home to what is believed to be one of the oldest European shipwrecks discovered in the New World and scientifically excavated.
Day 3: French Cay to Salt Cay
The western side of this Salt Cay boasts the best anchorages. Enjoy a day of cruising, reading and fishing as you make way to the second largest island in the TCI chain. Salt Cay is a naturalist's delight and offers everything from bird watching to scuba diving. Some even refer to Salt Cay as the "island time forgot".
Day 4: Salt Cay to Grand Turk
Just a short hop from Salt Cay, Grand Turk is a quaint island city. Enjoy an authentic lunch aboard your Turks and Caicos superyacht charter, as well as shopping and visiting the museum in the afternoon. Like much of the Turks and Caicos, time seems to stand still leaving a colonial feel and the laid back island vibe.
Day 5 - 7: Parrot Cay, Dellis Cay, Fort George Cay, Pine Cay, Water Cay and Little Water Cay
Your departure from Grand Turk will see you cross waters whose depths drop suddenly from 12 meters to 2,000 which make for amazing diving experiences. During the winter season you are almost guaranteed to see pods of humpback whales heading south to their breeding grounds. Pine Cay is a private island of grandeur luxury, while off Fort George Cay you can spy cannons from the old fort lying in about one meter of water. On Little Water Cay you can catch a glimpse of huge iguanas amongst the mangroves, while Parrot Cay is home to some of the Caribbean's most luxurious spas and resorts. Back on Provo, departure is easy out of the international airport……..if you're ready to go!
