Bob's marine background started at an early age by building and sailing his pram while living in Clearwater Beach, Florida. His love of the water and all it has to offer has remained intense ever since. A career course soon became apparent, a business doing pleasure. There could be no better job in the world, working with people enjoying the fruits of their labor and achieving their goals.
Bob graduated from "boat sales" and started an earnest career as a "yacht brokerage consultant" 30 years ago. Several years of working with firms in St. Petersburg led to taking the helm of his own brokerage. Soon there were offices in West Palm, St. Petersburg, Daytona and Naples. Steering one's own ship was rewarding but, an eight year journey had withered his sea legs and left him consumed with administration. In 1996 an overpowering need to return to his roots, to have and maintain direct client interaction and on-going service, brought Bob Anslow Yacht Sales to a close and allowed him to return to 110% client care.
Bob has traveled to over thirty five countries serving various clients with their yachting needs. These travels and adventures have left him well versed in every aspect of yachting and more importantly, what's required to keep his clients yachting experience truly enjoyable. It's important to know the market, to know the many makes and models, and to know the strengths and weakness of a sought after product. But, Bob truly feels that the most important item in the entire equation is the service after the sale. Bob takes extreme pride in giving his clients extraordinary service from the day of delivery, through every day of ownership. Bob remains focused on serving his clients total yachting needs.
